Hello and welcome to my happy place!

My name is Simona and I’m a self-taught illustrator, living in Oradea, Romania, mainly focused on children’s books illustrations.

After working a couple of years as a software developer, in 2021, I finally had the courage to rewrite my story and follow a passion that was growing bigger and stronger in my heart. I’m now investing my time and energy in telling stories through my illustrations, through colors and appealing compositions. While working digitally, I like creating different moods using lights and shadows or drawing characters with different expressions and dynamics, living their own lives, but sharing emotions with the viewer.

When I’m not painting, you can find me taking long walks, visiting new streets in my town and admiring the beautiful Art Nouveau buildings around here.

My goal is to combine the soft skills I’ve achieved in my previous experience, with drawing, painting and design skills I’ve put my heart into, in order to help you release impactful creative projects in the world.
